White To Join Veterans In Pittsburgh, Lower Burrell, and Johnstown To Mark Veterans Day

November 11, 2021
RIDLEY PARK, PA – Pennsylvania gubernatorial candidate Dave White (R-Ridley Park) issued the following statement in commemoration of Veterans Day.
Dave White said: “Today we remember the sacrifice of the men and women who stood up in defense of our nation and our freedoms.  We must never forget the blood, sweat, and loss they experienced so that we might enjoy the privilege of living in the greatest nation in the World.  Supporting our returning heroes is a cause close to my heart and to my family, and it is my commitment to our Pennsylvania veterans that I will never take their sacrifice for granted and that I will always prioritize their needs, just as they prioritized the freedoms of each of us.”
White will commemorate Veterans Day by taking part in the Veterans Leadership Breakfast at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, followed by visits to the Lower Burrell Veterans Day Parade and the Johnstown Veterans Day Parade.
Dave White is a long-time veterans advocate and supporter who has been actively involved in the Pennsylvania’s Veterans’ Museum, where he was presented with the “Hendrick Award” for outstanding service to the Museum.  In addition, White has been a strong supporter of the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Association and their various tributes to veterans, including the Memorial in Newtown Square, where the names of his mother and father are engraved on the World War II column.
